\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Today, MCT faculty members came together for a special seminar on “Human Trafficking & Media Representation,” presented by Dr. Milena Rizzotti, a respected researcher from the University of Leicester (UK). The session was held in our MCT Conference Room.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Dr. Rizzotti gave a truly thought-provoking talk based on her in-depth criminological research. She shed light on the significant gap between the reality of human trafficking and how it is often portrayed by the media.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The presentation was followed by a fantastic Q&A session. We want to thank our faculty for asking such great questions, which made for a very rich and engaging discussion. The event also sparked an exciting conversation about future research collaborations between media studies and sociology.<\/p>\n
