Join us for a thought-provoking session with Dr. Milena Rizzotti, an expert in human trafficking research. In this 30-minute talk, Dr. Rizzotti will share insights from her criminological research and discuss how real-world findings align—or clash—with the way human trafficking is portrayed in the media.

Following the presentation, we’ll discuss an exciting research collaboration between sociology and media studies, highlighting how interdisciplinary work can deepen our understanding of complex social issues.
