Program Information
Program Philosophy
The Doctor of Philosophy Program in Mass Communication Innovation and Management aims to develop intellectual leaders who possess high-level expertise in research, creation of new knowledge and innovation. Graduates will be able to integrate interdisciplinary approaches to establish policies, formulate strategic plans, and manage media operations in the business sector, government agencies, and civil society, thereby driving sustainable growth of the media industry in the digital age, based on ethics and social responsibility
Admission Requirements
Plan 1.1: Focus on Doctoral Dissertation Only
- 
- Must hold a Master's Degree or equivalent in Communication Arts, Mass Communication, Management, Information Technology, Innovation, or other fields deemed appropriate by the Curriculum Administrative Committee to be eligible for application.
- Must have graduated with a Master's Degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 on a 4.00 scale (or equivalent) from an institution accredited by the Office of the Civil Service Commission (OCSC), OR must have published research work presented at least once at a national academic conference or published in a national or international academic journal, OR must have other professional experience deemed appropriate by the Curriculum Administrative Committee to be eligible for application.
- Must submit a standardized English language proficiency test score for doctoral-level admission from one of the following:

- TOEFL (Paper-based Test) (677 max score) with a minimum score of 450
- 
TOEFL (Computer-based Test) (300 max score) with a minimum score of 133 
- TOEFL (Internet-based Test) (120 max score) with a minimum score of 45
- IELTS (9 max score) with a minimum score of 4
- CU-TEP (120 max score) with a minimum score of 45
- TU-GET (1,000 max score) with a minimum score of 450
- TOEIC (990 max score) with a minimum score of 520
- RT-TEP with a minimum score of 4

Applicants must submit the test result prior to application. The test result must be valid for no more than 2 years from the date the result was announced until the date of application.
4. Must meet other qualifications as stipulated in Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi Regulation on Graduate Education 2016 and subsequent amendments, which shall be subject to the discretion of the Curriculum Administrative Committee.
Plan 2.2 : Coursework and Doctoral Dissertation
